Renowned for its literary connections, vibrant LGBTQ community, and unique character, the town is home to an array of pubs, restaurants, coffee houses, independent shops, a canal and marina, and even its own independent cinema. There’s so much to experience, but we hope you’ll come and explore it all for yourself. 

The Hostel is located in the heart of Hebden Bridge, within Calderdale—a borough earning its place as a thriving hub for arts and culture. Just a ten minute train ride takes you to Halifax, where you can explore the historic 18th-century Piece Hall or immerse yourself in contemporary art at Dean Clough, home to six galleries, including IOU Creation Centre’s Studio, Gallery & Workshop. Alternatively, the nearby town of Todmorden boasts a burgeoning food scene waiting to be discovered.
