From how to check in, to how to bring your dog or your bike – here is all the essential information you need to know for your stay at the Hostel

For your convenience, we are proudly self check-in, which helps keeps our rooms affordable.
You will receive all the information you need to find the hostel, access the building, and locate your room via email.
Please ensure you have your unique four-digit front door code, followed by HASH#, as we do not have staff on-site.

Towels & Linen : Bed linen is provided but not towels. Towels can be hired from reception at £2 each.

We offer a bike cleaning station and 7 purpose built bike storage units on site, each able to accommodate two bikes.
The bespoke metal storage units contain a bike locking bar,electric points for charging ebikes, hat hooks, CCTV coverage and individual code locking mechanisms.Book online to receive an individual code to access the bike storage for the duration of your stay at £10 per day per unit.
You will then receive a confirmation email with your bike storage unique code
Bikes are stored at your own risk.
Please note we DO NOT allow bikes or electric bikes, or the charging of electric bikes inside the Hostel. You are able to charge your bike at the electric point in the bookable bike storage units.
Bikes found in rooms may be subject to an additional cleaning fee

We welcome well behaved dogs in our Ground Floor Double with Single Bed rooms.
We offer dog beds, dog towels and bowls in our reception area.
We prefer to limit dog numbers to two at any one time so please contact info@hebdenbridgehostel.org to enquire about availability.
If we are able to accommodate your dog please select ‘Dogs’ as an additional item to book and pay the nominal charge of £10 to cover extra deep cleaning.
Assistance Dogs are allowed free of charge in our Wheelchair Accessible Room.Dogs must never be left unattended in the hostel, be kept under control and are at your own risk.

Vegetarian Kitchen
We are proudly vegetarian and you will be able to cook with ease in our self-catering kitchen, stocked with everything you need to make breakfast or dinner.
No meat or fish can be stored or cooked on the Hostel premises.

Accessibilty
The IOU Hostel, Hebden Bridge is a two story building, fully accessible on the ground floor making the Hostel welcoming for everyone.
A dedicated Blue-Badge parking space ensures step-free, ease of access right to the Hostel door.
Parking in our shared car park is on a first come first served basis. We cannot reserve places but there is usually plenty of room
On the ground floor there is an accessible double room including ensuite wet room and toilet, specifically designed for wheelchair users. On the ground floor there is also a gender neutral accessible toilet.
